Forget & Forgive

Have you ever heard,

forgotten & forgiven?

or not forgotten but forgiven?

I think, forgetting an incident and forgiving the same incident are 2 different things.You can choose to forget and forgive an incident. But really, how many people can do that?

I think what we can do best is forgive but not forget. You can forgive someone, but at the same time not forgetting the incident.

You will be better off forgiving him, but not forgetting what he has done to you.
This doesn't mean "revenge", but rather, a lesson learnt.

So, you may forgive someone in this X'mas eve, remember the lesson that we "learnt" in these past few years, looking forward for new resolutions in 2007.
